The diocese has had an on-going relationship with the Diocese of Tanga. There are a number of ways churches can engage with Tanzanians. The Diocese has as nursing school at the Teule Hospital, the community of Kizara is attempting to build its own hospital to address medical needs in the area, the church in Mgombezi has an orphanage that serves over 120 children, the Holy Cross Secondary School in Hegongo needs a chemistry lab and a chapel, and the Jubilee Committee is already involved with a number of AIDS related projects. To join Tanzanians in God’s mission, you can contact the Diocese at tanga@anglican.or.tz addressing your email to The Rev. Charles Mbukuzi.
