Guatemala

Traveling to Guatemala is similar to traveling to other Central American countries. The best way to begin to coordinate a mission trip is to be in touch with the Diocesan offices. The Rt. Rev. Armando Guerra welcomes mission teams and has a number of areas in which churches can join local staff in engaging in mission. Diocesan email is diocesis@infovia.com.gt.

Another source of up-to-date medical mission information on Guatemala can be viewed at http://www.cliniclink.org. Clinic Link is a new non-profit (August 2009) dedicated to connecting various individuals and groups who care about healthcare access in Guatemala. The site, under development, will contain tools to help traveling medical missions, Guatemalan NGO’s, Guatemalan patients and development groups to work better together as well as profiling active missions in the area.
