Work and medical teams play an essential role in the life and development of Iglesia Episcopal Dominicana. Teams have provided the sweat equity and financial resources to build new churches, schools, and children's shelters. Medical teams have treated thousands of people in some of the poorest areas of the country. The following website listing indicates the specifics about how mission teams can engage in the Dominican Republic: http://www.dominicanepiscopalchurch.org/DrWEBenglish/mission_teams.htm
